  3.                          Welcome to TOUCH TYPE TUTOR

  5. There are 3 modes of operation, speed-test, tutorial and tutorial-game.

  7. 1. The speed test mode provides an easy way of measuring the speed of a typist
  8. using selectable styles of text in various categories.  This mode does assume
  9. some basic proficiency at touch typing.  The typist is allowed to practice
  10. with a few lines of text before the proper measurement takes place.

  13. 2. The tutorial mode provides a graduated series of lessons to enable anyone to
  14. learn to touch type.  It does not assume any prior skill but will adapt itself
  15. to the proficiency of the user.

  18. 3. The tutorial game is designed to help you familiarize with finger placement
  19. as well as provide some light hearted relief.
