- The `home' of DVIPS is currently LABREA.STANFORD.EDU, on the /pub directory.
- When you unpack the .TAR file you'll have a [.VMS] directory which stores the
- VMS-specific bits and pieces. It includes a MAKE.COM to rebuild the whole kit
- and a help file. I have recently added to the goodies a MAKEFILE that is
- compatible with the Todd Aven MAKE program. Which ever method you use to
- rebuild the program do be careful with the definitions of the various PATHS
- (CONFIGPATH, FIGPATH, PKPATH, VF_PATH, etc..) to make sure DVIPS can find all
- the files it depends on.

- The latest version is 5.499 which was released on 19-JAN-1992. Version 5.5
- is just around the corner.
