- I understand your problem. Several years ago I had almost exactly
- the same problem with an image scanning system on an RSX-11M
- platform. My solution then, which should still be valid today, is
- to have the DRIVER to the additional validation. While it is not
- pretty, it is feasible.

- that is where it matters the most.
