  25. I understand your problem. Several years ago I had almost exactly 
  26. the same problem with an image scanning system on an RSX-11M 
  27. platform. My solution then, which should still be valid today, is 
  28. to have the DRIVER to the additional validation. While it is not 
  29. pretty, it is feasible.

  31. This solution is truly only feasible for the realtime IO, but 
  32. that is where it matters the most.
