- What do you propose is discussed in such a forum? Regurgitating tracts
- from The Good Beer Guide 1993 (TGBG93) seems pointless unless
- accompanied with additional information, e.g. "get there before 8.30
- if you want a seat", "music too loud", "food a bit pricey" etc..
-
- I'm all for the group (uk.beer would be my choice of title) if it
- provides useful information not available elsewhere. As happens with
- other groups, it does invite questions such as "I'm going to be in
- X-town this weekend, can you recommend any good pubs?". Admittedly, it
- is not always clear where exactly a pub is without an A-Z which I do
- not always buy when visiting a "smallish" town/city.
-
- Anyone like to hammer out a fuller description of its purpose?
