- You don't get it do you? The point is that there is evidence for evolution,
- just that it's not as complete and perfect as we'd like. The entire fossil
- record shows the pattern of evolution, but the gaps don't necessarily mean
- that the idea of evolution is wrong.

- Ray, thank you! Really! I knew I was forgetting something in my 2nd law
- FAQ.

- 1.) If the universe started off with zero entropy, how does that show that
- God created the universe? Since scientists don't know what things were like
- "before" the Big Bang (of even if there is a "before") how can you
- possibably conclude that zero entropy is due to God and not just how things
- were then?

- 2.) Even so, the example doesn't demonstrate creation over evolution. It
- only deals with the instant of beginning, not what happened since. It also
- says nothing about local fluctuations in entropy, like in the vicinity of a
- small rock called earth.
