  12. One piece of evidence advanced for a young universe concerns
  13. the depth of dust on the moon.  In my younger years, I remember
  14. quite a bit of concern about the depth likely to be encountered
  15. on the moon.  Many people expected 20 - 40 feet of the stuff
  16. based on calculated accumulations.  Fortunately for Neil 
  17. Armstrong, there turned out to be much less -- of order
  18. a few inches.  Anyone know what the accepted reconcilation
  19. of the discrepancy is?
