- I noticed this in checking for my name.... I'm firmly pro-choice the
- first two trimesters, though I'd only describe myself as "fiercely"
- pro-choice in the first trimester....

- Doug actually has a point about the pro-choicers on talk.abortion, imo
- -- but *not* the pro-choice movement in general. I think that the
- people on t.a. on both sides tend to be the extremists, because you're
- much more likely to spend time arguing about the subject in a forum
- where you're making little if any difference if you feel very strongly
- about abortion, and the people who feel very strongly about abortion
- tend to be extremists. So by and large on talk.abortion you've got
- the only-health-or-life-of-mother pro-lifers and the
- abortion-on-demand pro-choicers.
