  24. No such problems at this end.  The really big egos belong to the
  25. narcissists whose world-views are strongly influenced by Rousseau,
  26. one of the great narcissists of all time.   Narcissism is completely
  27. alien to my way of thinking.  What you interpret as narcissism is my 
  28. naive belief that people mean their charges seriously, hence I used to
  29. take them all seriously.

  31. Lefty has helped me to see the light.  What you say
  32. above, for example, is simply another would-be entry in what I believe
  33. to be a forthcoming book of insults by him.  I told him not to bother
  34. with putting the original context in, because it would not make any
  35. difference anyway.

  38. are not one of them.  If for some reason you do want me to take
  39. something you say seriously, I suggest you apologize for the remarks
  40. you have made about me in the posts to which I have followed up today.
