- Well, yes, actually. I think that the reported stats are somewhere
- around 1.4 million. The 1.5 million and 1.6 million numbers seem to
- be speculation or fabrication (perhaps others would like to describe
- "fabrication" as "extrapolation").

- But numbers do not make the problem, nor do they make the problem
- worse or better. First, we should examine if there is indeed a
- problem (magnitude is not important), identify the problem, and if
- a problem exists direct efforts at that, rather than at numbers.

- Shoot, we could reduce the rate of abortion to zero if we killed
- all the women. It's all in the way you look at it...
