- A lawyer is an Officer of the Court. As an Officer of the Court, they
- are bound by the rules of judicial conduct, which includes obeying a
- judge's order. If a lawyer disagrees with a ruling, they have the option of
- appeal. To ignore a ruling and usurp the system is contempt. Or do
- you prefer a lawless society, DODie?
