  35. How well do you know Catholicism?  Not too well, I take it.  Who do you think
  36. handles the books, writes the checks, teaches the children, etc.  The Pope? 
  37. The bishops?  Not hardly.  They're too busy saving souls (so to speak).  The
  38. nuns do much of what I described above.  When it comes to running the behind
  39. the scenes part of the Church, the sisters do it all, and wield the big stick.
