  23. but I'm pretty sure that California spends more per student to get
  24. shot at and ignored in public school than my parents paid for a *wonderful*
  25. private education... (my high school must have been doing something
  26. right that the huge bureaucracy they call the "State Government"
  27. wasn't) I don't know how this compares to other states 'cause I've
  28. never lived anywhere else, but I wouldn't be surprised if the stats
  29. were similar...
