  25. A better analogy would be the intregration of women into the armed services.
  26. The current situation can best be described as "Seperate but Equal". Men and
  27. woman may work, train and fight together but they do not sleep, shower or sh*t
  28. together. The biggest reason why women have not achieved full parity in the
  29. Navy is the inability of the Navy to house women on combat ships.

  31. The military is not a 9 to 5 job. The problem with gays has nothing to do
  32. with working together and everything to do with living together. In the
  33. military you are forced into living in close quarters with the people
  34. you work with. The reason we have seperate male and female quarters is that
  35. there is a basic sexual attraction between men and women and we will not
  36. force anyone to expose themselves to someone who lusts after their body.

  38. Lifting the gay ban would be equivalent to ordering the military to cease
  39. the seperate but equal housing and only have unisex barracks and heads.
  40. Unless you could come up with seperate living quarters you will have a
  41. disaster on your hands.

  44. Imagine how Mr. Clinton would feel if we made "First Lady" an elected position
  45. and elected a gay male to replace Hillary?
