- First of all, I need to clarify. I've only started on Prodigy and their
- Genealogy BB. One of the current Subjects under the GERMAN Topic is
- "Bemen Passenger Lists" (roughly translates as "GenealogyBB.German, subject
- "Bemen Passenger Lists". There is one person who is offering to
- look up names, but since I came into the disscussion late, I don't know
- the exact details of the resource being used. I have sent him a query on
- my SUDDENDORF line, and he replied he would have any info this Friday.
-
- Along these lines, can anyone out there provide a definitive listing of
- known Emmigration Lists for Germany? I have heard, for example, of the
- Hamberg Passenger Lists, but never located an access to them. I have consulted
- _Germans to America_ in all there glorious volumes (:-). I've also
- heard of Wurtenburg Emmigration Index, a Baden Passenger List, etc., but
- I'm not clear what other resources are out there.
-
- Alternatively, can someone supply a reference to such a compendium?
