- I have encountered a distant cousin named Judge William Barnes, who lived in
- Ontario, Canada, about 1840-1900. Another instance is a certain Doctor Smith
- born in Vermont, died in Erie County, OH, in the mid-1800's, who was a farmer,
- not a physician.
