  21. For one thing, he had movie producers who were willing to pay lots of
  22. money to women who acted like they wanted to tear his clothes off.  We
  23. have no way of knowing how they would have reacted if Elvis had not
  24. been the big entertainment phenomenon he was, and instead had just
  25. stuck to playing guitar and singing in small clubs.
