  15. somewhere in the middle I wanted to say
  16. "We're here, we're queer,
  17. actually, I'm not, I'm just an average
  18. normal
  19. heterosexual being civic-minded and helping out
  20. my fellow humans
  21. get used to it!"
  22. as I huddled in March cold in the midst
  23. of about fifty screaming people
  24. wondering if anyone would recognize me.
