  12.   I'm looking for a reliable discount broker with low rates for
  13.   buying and selling Canadian stocks on the Vancouver and Toronto
  14.   exchanges -- preferably, but not necessarily, with a branch office
  15.   in the Seattle area.

  17.   My broker (Freeman-Wellwood) charges an extra 10 cents a share over
  18.   their normal commission on each buy and sell.  That is a rip-off
  19.   considering the stock I am buying (Advanced Gravis, AED on the 
  20.   Canadian exchanges) is only about $2.15 (American) and I will end
  21.   up paying about 10% commission on the buy and sell.

  23.   I know there are some small brokers with questionable reliability
  24.   associated with the Vancouver penny-stock market, so I would prefer
  25.   to deal with a large, well-known, reputable firm.
