- You're just one of the lucky few, then. A public transit system isn't
- much good if it isn't a viable option for a majority of the population.

- That may be the case, but if a rail system could get one of those
- yuppie #@*%s to their office in 30 minutes whereas their Accura would
- sit on the freeway for an hour, I think they'd start using it.

- My problem with any bus system is that it is inherently not any faster
- than car traffic. Coupled with the "inconveniences" associated with it,
- it's enough to discourage a lot of people from using it.

- Ultimately, the goal of any transit system should be to get the greatest
- number of people from affordable housing to the job centers of an urban
- area, IMHO.
