  16. Congrats on this new concept.  It sounds great.  I have a couple of questions:

  18. 1.  Are the colloquia open to the public?  As the Chair of San Diego's
  19.     professional chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery, I
  20.     would love to let my non-usenet member know about the colloquia.

  22. 2.  Would it be possible to announce the subject matter and venue a little
  23.     earlier?  Your announcement of the Jan 20 collooquium did not arrive
  24.     until after Jan 23.
