  13.     Please pardon my ignorance but i was talking to an old school friend
  14. who told me about something he was reading. It was a book about maths 
  15. princeples apparently devised by an 'Indian' (apologises for coreectness) who
  16. was orginally intending a 16 volume series but died after only writng 1! The
  17. book which I have only had a glance shows some very nifty techniques for
  18. solving simple multiplications to partial fractions and integrals etc. He 
  19. told me that the 'ideas' were known as 'vedic' (easier to say than spell).

  21.     I (but more he) would be interested to know if this mans work has been
  22. continued at all, and if so where details could be found. I apoplogise for the
  23. possible/probable errors in this posting, but I am waiting for him to finish
  24. the book so that I can have a look.
