- My daughter (also nine) is always asking me pointed questions. Considering my
- basement is filled from end to end with electronic devices and lasers shooting
- beams from one end to the other (except for a little spot I gave the wife for
- her washer and dryer ;-)So she is always asking how lasers work, ect. Anyway,
- she asked the same question: 'what is
- relativity' or 'how can a black hole change time'. The only book I have on the
- subject is written by the maser himself (Hawkins) and I don't even understand
- parts of it ;-) If someone knows of a book written for children that describes
- black holes and relativity and quantum theory, please let me know. Then maybe I
- could understand it myself ;-) Thanks in advance.
