  14. At the risk of turning this into an alt.religion discussion (dons
  15. flameproof gear) I would like to say that Jesus didn't think of Himself
  16. as one of a series of "Masters".  Why?  Look at what He said:

  18. John 8:58 -- "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was
  19.   born, I Am!" (I Am: Yahweh -- I have existed eternally)

  21. John 14:6 -- Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.
  22.   No one comes to the Father except through Me.  If you really knew Me,
  23.   you would know My Father as well.  From now on, you do know Him and have
  24.   seen Him."

  26. Isaiah says in chapter 43 that God is the only God; there was none 
  27. before Him and there will be none after Him.  You even specifically
  28. dismissed John 3:16.  You can't take the other, convenient parts of the
  29. Bible and reject the rest.  It's all one truth.  For those of you who think
  30. it's either completely false or just corrupted, look again.  I did; there's
  31. one truth, established by God, that tells of our future beyond this world,
  32. and whether you want to believe in it or not, God will judge you just the
  33. same.  If you want to know the truth, talk to Him...it's called praying.
