- This is a little off topic, but somewhat related to physics (what
- isn't?). I just came up with the idea of using highly compressed gas or
- air for use as a propulsion/attitude control system on airships. I
- thought that a motor such as found on turbo-prop aircraft might be the
- ideal powerplant. Have any of you heard of such engines being rigged up
- to compressors (i.e. turbine compressor)? Or if such a monster does not
- exsist, tell me about the most powerful, lightweight compressors you may
- know of.
- Thanks,
- Norman Paterson
