  26.     I did a simulation back in Junior-High School (7-9th grades) at
  27. Kirn Junior High in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  We assummed at 50 mega-ton hit
  28. at Offutt AFB, (AKA SAC HQ), with a distance of roughly 20MN.  As I recall,
  29. the trees might be afire, but anybody in a building would likely be OK
  30. and possibly capable of getting home to smashed windows and burning
  31. embers depending upon construction of the house.  This was in the
  32. early 80's, about the time President Reagan was shot.

  35. quite glad the threat is lower now than then.
