- I did a simulation back in Junior-High School (7-9th grades) at
- Kirn Junior High in Council Bluffs, Iowa. We assummed at 50 mega-ton hit
- at Offutt AFB, (AKA SAC HQ), with a distance of roughly 20MN. As I recall,
- the trees might be afire, but anybody in a building would likely be OK
- and possibly capable of getting home to smashed windows and burning
- embers depending upon construction of the house. This was in the
- early 80's, about the time President Reagan was shot.
