- Hi.
- My left thumb was sprained six days ago. The urgent care physician
- had it x-rayed to be sure it wasn't broken (he was uncertain because it
- was badly bruised and swollen) and splinted it. It's still too painful
- to use, and somewhat swollen, though most of the bruising has faded.
- My question is, is this normal, or should I seek help from a specialist?
