  15. Hi.
  16. My left thumb was sprained six days ago.  The urgent care physician
  17. had it x-rayed to be sure it wasn't broken (he was uncertain because it
  18. was badly bruised and swollen) and splinted it.  It's still too painful 
  19. to use, and somewhat swollen, though most of the bruising has faded.  
  20. My question is, is this normal, or should I seek help from a specialist?
