  17. Systat for Windows seems to have all the functionality of the DOS
  18. version. In fact, in many ways it seems as if it is just the DOS
  19. version running in a window.  The stats results are scrolled in a
  20. window just like on a DOS screen.  The graphics are identical to the
  21. DOS graphics; they don't even use the Windows fonts.  It even draws
  22. the cluster diagrams with ASCII characters in a scrolling window
  23. rather than as a graphic.

  25. I haven't done a detailed comparison, but it seems as if all the
  26. analyses that are in the DOS version are in the Windows version.
  27. You can type commands and run command files just like in the DOS
  28. version.  You can bypass these and use the menus and "QuickStat"
  29. buttons, but I'd say if you are used to the DOS version you'll feel
  30. quite at home with Systat for Windows.  It has a few nice features,
  31. like you can click on a data point on a scattergram and that datum
  32. will be highlighted in the data editor, which you can have displayed
  33. beside the graph.  You can also cut and paste between Systat and
  34. other Windows programs.

  36. If you use Windows for other things anyway it's worth getting.  It's
  37. not worth changing to Windows just to use Systat for Windows, though.
