  62. February 26, 1993.  The description should not exceed one-half 
  63. page in length, and should include lines for title, presenter,
  64. and mailing address.

  76. will be published.  Camera-ready copy will be due on
  77. June 1, 1993.

  79. Conference Schedule:
  80. The conference begins on Wednesday evening, April 14, 
  81. with a get-acquainted reception.  Technical sessions will 
  82. be held Thursday and Friday with a banquet Thursday evening.
  83. There will be final technical sessions Saturday morning.

  85. Short Courses
  86. SYSTAT:  Data Analysis -- 2 days prior to the conference, 
  87. Monday, April 12 and Tuesday, April 13.  SYSTAT produces 
  88. statistical software designed for data analysis.
  89. Registration for this short course will be handled separately.
  90. BMDP:  A New Windows-Based Statistical Analysis Environment 
  91. will be presented Wednesday afternoon, April 14.  There is no
  92. fee for this course, however, please note on the registration card 
  93. if you plan to attend.
  94. Jenny Baglivo, Marcello Pagano, and Cathie
  95. Spino will offer a short course in Randomization Tests:  
  96. Theory and Practice.  There is no fee for this course.  Please note
  97. on the registration card if you plan to attend.

  101. The registration fee is $165 for members of the cooperating societies, 
  102. ASA, IMS, SIAM, ORSA, the Biometrics Society (ENAR and WNAR),
  103. and for persons affiliated with University of California, Berkeley.  
  104. The fee is $55 for students; for others it is $185. Registrations 
  105. received after February 15, 1993 will be charged a late fee of $20.  
  106. The registration fee covers the reception, coffee breaks, banquet, 
  107. and the proceedings.

  112. All meetings will be held at The Pan Pacific Hotel in downtown 
  113. San Diego, California.  Conference room rates of $99 per room 
  114. have been arranged for all attendees.  Early registration is
  115. strongly recommended to assure a room.  Please contact the

  147. The Interface Symposium is an activity of the Interface 
  148. Foundation of North America, a nonprofit, educational
  149. corporation founded in August of 1987.  The aim of the IFNA 
  150. is to promote the Interface Symposium and related
  151. activities at the interface of computing science and statistics.  
  152. The 25th Symposium is the sixth held under the
  153. auspices of the Interface Foundation.  The next symposium 
  154. will be hosted by the SAS institute in North Carolina in 1994.
