- Demonstration of Machine Translation

- As a service to its membership, the Northern California
- Translators Association is sponsoring a series of tutorials on,
- and demonstrations of an increasingly important issue for many
- language professionals -- machine translation. The first of this
- series will feature a representative of Systran Translation
- Systems, Inc., who will run a real-time demonstration of
- Systran's natural language translation software and services.
- Attendees may bring a brief sample of text (100-200 words) to be
- translated at the demonstration.

- Where: UCSF Laurel Heights Conference Center Auditorium

- Admission: $5.00 at the door
