- Also, don't forget that traffic synchronization could be applied to making
- bicycle commutes much less painful. Regenerating the inertia that was lost
- every time one has to come to a partial or full stop is a _major_ waste of
- energy, and doing this every block or two is a real hassle. It makes it much
- harder for people to arrive at work without working up a major sweat. If I
- could simply get into 21st gear and stay there for ten or twenty miles, I'd
- be at work much faster and I'd smell much better. (-:
