  22. because the change in the lights is triggered by a switch.

  25. in a magnetic field.  Since it is impractical for a pedestrian to run
  26. out in the middle of the street and lie down on a sensor, not that they
  27. have enough metal anyway, an alternative system of alerting the traffic
  28. computer has been provided.

  30. I used to ride a motorcycle, I quickly learned where these sensor controlled
  31. lights were.  My bike did not have enough metal to trip the sensor.  I either
  32. had to wait for a car to pull up behind me, or to run the light.
