- Just found a 12V NiCd accu pack. I guess I haven't charged it for about
- 3 or 4 years. Do you think I can still put it in the charger and use it, or is
- it lost ??
-
- But now for the real question : I have a Toshiba T1000 portable, which wants
- a 9V DC input from the charger. Can I just hook up an external 9V accupack
- to the 'adaptor' input, or a >9V pack (like the one mentioned above) with a
- simple 7809 or LM317 based voltage regulator circuit, or would that damage the
- portable ?? It doesn't have interchangable batteries, so I don't have the
- option of buying 'official' extra accu packs.
-
- If I can't use the accupack 'just like that' on the charger input, what kind
- of circuit would it take to achieve that ??
-
- Cya,
