  12. I am interested in aquiring a Unix based software package that would
  13. take an ascii test file containing boolean expressions and convert
  14. it JDEC format so I can burn PLD's . We have an HP9000-835 running
  15. hp-ux 9.0 and a few 386's attached via serial lines.
  16. The idea is for a number of students to be able to develop boolean
  17. equations on the UNIX host using some editor and run it through this
  18. conversion utility to generate the JDEC file. Hopefully the software
  19. would also contain some error checking etc. The student could then 
  20. go into the lab and download the JDEC to the pc hosted PLD burner
  21. and burn thier chip and continue on to test it out in vector boards.
  22. There are utilities provided by the the pld/gal/eprom burners
  23. but we only have 3 of these machines and 50+ students.
  24. We don't really want them hanging around on the pc to do all of 
  25. their developement.
  26. Any info on such a package would be greatly appreciated.
  27. He have a bit of a budget for this if need be but PD would be
  28. desirable.
