  12. for those of you who live in residence halls and daily eat there, try this:

  14. To make a homemade lava lamp,  pour a glass of mountain dew (any 
  15. carbonated beverage will work, but the yellow is a neat effect), and
  16. sprinkle a few Bacos on top.  After a few moments, the bacos will
  17. begin to alternately drop to the bottom of the glass from weight, then
  18. rise again when enough carbon dioxide gas is deposited on their surface.
  19. I have found that this not only entertains your friends but lasts for 
  20. quite a long time (perfect for parties!)
