- I dunno about you, but I'm doing "research". So are most of my
- colleagues. The distinction between observation and experiment is
- semantically useful, but in practice I've never personally seen a
- whole lot of difference. Unless they are trying to make a fine
- distinction, most people use a pretty broad definition of the word
- research.
