  14. Does anyone know if the long-awaited new edition of the "Explanatory
  15. Supplement to the Astronomical Almanac" has been published yet?

  17. The reason I ask is that I heard it was due to be published towards the end
  18. of last year, but HMSO (The Astronomical Almanac publishers in the UK)
  19. claim that their computer just shows the 1984 edition as "out of print"
  20. with no replacement scheduled.

  22. I'd appreciate any information that anyone might have on this.  I find the
  23. old edition of the "Explanatory Supplement" an invaluable reference source,
  24. but it *is* now very out of date, and an up-to-date edition would be useful
  25. to have.
