  13. Well, thanks to the many responses from my questions. I have been trying
  14. equipment and have not yet made up my mind, but I thought I would post results.
  15. FYI, my original postings were to north america, so folks outside na will
  16. be seeing this for the first time.

  18. I originally asked for info on the ScubaPro stuff, and I was particularly
  19. interested in the difference between the 250 and 350 regulators. Also, I
  20. was interested in the opinions re: front-adjustable vs. the scubapro
  21. full jacket BC's.

  23. On the regulators, there is no consensus. People seem to agree their stuff
  24. is good (but expensive). Some like the 350 for simplicity, others prefer
  25. to have the adjustments on the 250. Others have said why not the 200, who
  26. needs adjustments anyway? I am a tweaker, so I think if I buy ScubaPro,
  27. I will go with the 250/Mk 10.

  29. On the BC's, only one person made a comment prefering the non-front-adjustable
  30. types. What I found very interesting, tho, was that several people said they
  31. liked their SeaQuest BC's. So I started looking into those. The Spectrum 4
  32. is a well built BC and probably the most adjustable one on the market. 
  33. It is also made of very heavy material (2x the normal thickness, I think),
  34. which I do not like, so I am probably going to buy a Spectrum 3.

  36. I also tried a Zeagle, after hearing the many positive comments about them from
  37. folks here. My experience was negative. I did not like the effect of the 
  38. extra weight on handling the BC + tank combo. I also did not like the back
  39. bouyancy; I could not float confortably on my back on the surface. Others might
  40. like these, but it was not for me.

  42. My current dilemma is what to do about regulators; I am torn between the 
  43. ScubaPro 250/Mk 10 combo and the US Divers Micra/SEA combo. See my next post...
