- An anecdote...
-
- A friend of mine once tried out a comms unit. It had diver to diver and diver
- to surface capability. It was integrated into an Aga full face mask. I don't
- recall the make of the unit. Anyway we decided to try it on a wreck called the
- Annie Miller in 45m off Sydney. Two divers had the comms units, and a buddy and
- I went along as minders. They were having quite a bit of difficulty with the
- units, primarily because of the speakers.
-
- What made this dive really worthwhile though, was that my buddy and I spent the
- dive in stitches, as we could hear everything perfectly through the water.
-
- I think he later resolved the problems and used the units quite successfully.
