  22. The current swiss scout uniform is limited to a heavy-duty cotton shirt
  23. (extremely comfortable, keeps cool in the summer, warm in the winter),
  24. a scout neckerchief, appropriate pants (blue jeans or bermudas)
  25. and hiking boots.

  27. The shirt colors are: light blue for wolves (cubs), khaki beige
  28. for scouts, red for rangers and rovers and forest green for leaders.
  29. Den and patrol leaders wear the beige shirt and a grey shoulder cord.
  30. Other leaders have a yellow, orange, red, purple or blue cord, 
  31. depending on their assignments. The unit's and the council's
  32. arms are worn on or above the shirt pockets.

  34. Each unit has its own neckerchief, single-colored or split in 2 colors,
  35. with or without a border. As an example, my wolf pack's neckerchief is 
  36. purple on the left, green on the right and has a black border. 
  37. My troop's neckerchief is deep blue with a red border. Neckerchief 
  38. colors are unique within the same council.

  40. Optional items are: brown BP hat or blue girl scout hat, scout belt,
  41. satchel (wolves), pocket knife or hunting knife and Recta compass.
