  48. Swiss Scout Promise:
  49. I promise that I will do my best to live by the Scout Law.

  51. (optional addendum for religious scouts: 
  52. I ask god and my friends to help me in this goal).

  54. Important note: None of the two texts play an important role in
  55. the life of a swiss scout.  A scout promise is considered as something
  56. very special. It is only meaningful if you really, really, really
  57. plan to keep that promise.

  59. It's a good guideline for the scout leader, though. 
  60. In day-to-day life, a swiss scout learns to live by the law in a
  61. very natural way, by following the example of his/her leader and
  62. his/her companions.
