  14. When I read the last post with a list of shoe types together with their
  15. prices I was utterly surprised about the extremly low prices of nearly all 
  16. manufacturers (at least all I was able to compare).
  17. If I compare the prices with those here in Germany, we generally pay 50 % 
  18. more for the same model. 
  19. Eg., randomly chosen from the list: 
  20. the Adidas Torsion Integral at US $100 , versus 220 DM (~$137) in Germany,
  21. Adidas Eq. Support $110, versus 250,- ($176) 
  22. Asics Gel Exult $100 versus 250,- ($176)
  23. Avia 2080  $105 versus 250,- ($176)
  24. The same picture for all other models

  26. Where does this difference come from ? Is it only policy of the manufacturers ?
  27. Or, are the numbers mentioned in the post not the prices for end users 
  28. (excluding some kind of tax)? 
  29. I would appreciate to see postings (or emails) from other countries about
  30. the prices there too.
