  30.     as these should be planned with the utmost care and professionalism.

  33.     taking care to plan and execute an operation properly, that the
  34.     persons responsible for such debacles be held accountable.

  39.     Humans are not quite so unpredictable, especially in the normal
  40.     course of living.  They only get that way when threatened.  There
  41.     are plenty of good strategies and tactics that can be employed
  42.     to minimize the problems associated with these operations.  The
  43.     question is whether or not the Guvermint is willing to use them.

  51.     Better to allow some to get away than to move improperly against
  52.     an innocent party, especially when the possibility of injury or
  53.     death exists for either the wrongly targeted party or the law
  54.     enforcement officers.  If men in black masks come crashing through
  55.     my window or door, and if I am prepared, guess what?  I will kill
  56.     as many of them as I can.  Why?  Because I have no idea who the
  57.     hell these people are.  Are they crooks?  DEA?  There have been
  58.     many cases of band of thieves busting into homes, claiming to be
  59.     DEA or FBI or what have you.  You cannot take ANYTHING for granted.

  66.     After you have done all your proper, correct, careful, and
  67.     mindful planning, and you are CERTAIN that you have the right
  68.     target in your sights and that you are using the best strategy 
  69.     and tactics for the given situation.  Once you are in the middle 
  70.     of the tactical event then the "expect the unexpected" plays
  71.     well, which I should hope would be obvious.  What I was addressing
  72.     was what goes on before engagement so that the target is confirmed
  73.     and taken with the minimum risk to all parties.  This most certainly
  74.     CAN be done.  The simple fact that so many law enforcement agencies
  75.     either neglect or refuse to take such care is not proof that it cannot
  76.     be done but that they are either criminally inept or unwilling to
  77.     operate in a responsible fashion.  I think the adrenalin rush of a
  78.     big, dangerous bust figures into this somewhere... that and all the
  79.     loot they take :(

  88.     planning an op.
