  13.     Well, I've just had what I'm pretty sure was my first
  14. experience with Anti's and/or their results. I'm a member of a private
  15. lake, east of Broomfield, that has pretty good goose hunting on it. My
  16. partner had a custom- designed and built blind that was an extravagant
  17. affair that he had invested quite a bit of labor and wood in. It was
  18. somewhat portable, and we had spent 3 days, earlier, refurbishing it
  19. and putting it up at our lake. I went out Monday morning to find it,
  20. and 2 of the other 3 blinds on the lake, burned to the ground! The
  21. other 2 blinds were cattail and hay bale blinds, and probably burned
  22. up/down pretty quickly. However, ours was comprised of 2X4's, 4X4's,
  23. and plywood. As there were hunters and ice-fisherman on the lake all
  24. day Sunday, this all happened sometime Sunday night. For this much
  25. wood to burn so hot and fast, it was probably fueled by a goodly
  26. amount of gasoline.  While we've reported it to the club officers and
  27. the local Sherrif's dept., none of it gives quite the satisfaction
  28. that I know we'd have if we had caught the bastard(s) ourselves.
  29.     One side note... I'm happy to say that they still failed in
  30. their attempt to kill our hunting. Quite the contrary. Two guys from
  31. one of the other burned blinds joined me and we just hid in the
  32. willows and weeds on the shore next to my still-smoldering blind.
  33. Three of us and Hershey, (the Chocolate-Mallard-Muncher), hiding in
  34. the weeds.... and we got our 9-bird limit by 10:30. Without doubt, one
  35. of the best decoying days I've ever seen.
