  12. If you are interested in buying an HK-91, you ought to do so soon.  They
  13. have been on the federal import ban list for two years, and are becoming
  14. much more difficult to buy.  I have an HK-91 A2 in excellent condition
  15. with most of the options you specified which I'd like to sell.  Why? 
  16. More outgo than income these days.

  18. First, some general information:
  19. 1.  The A2 model does not have the collapsible stock, the A3 does. I have
  20. the stock with adjustable cheekpiece from HK, in addition to the regular
  21. stock for the A2.  The current price for the A3 stock is about $245 to
  22. $275.
  23. 2.  Barrels on HK's are not user replaceable.  You'll need to contact and
  24. HK armourer or HK service in Virginia.
  25. 3.  rder to use the heavy bipod (which I have), you also need to have the
  26. slimline forearm.  (The heavy bipod and standard forearm conflict.)
  27. 4.  Laser sights and HK-91's are a mismatch.  Even the best profes-sional
  28. grade laser sight is useless in daylight (not bright enough to be seen @
  29. 5nW output), and is limited at nighttime to 100-300 yards (varying with
  30. the color of the reflecting surface, and divergence of the laser beam.) 
  31. Typical dot size at 100 yards is 4 to 6 inches . . .
