- ##The consensus of private responses to my query seems to be that the Norinco

- #At the last show that I attended, the Norincos were priced at $270.
-
- I have seen many Springfields selling for about $300-$350 in last two
- months. That is about average I think. The Norinco model is of unknown
- quality, and most of the custom gunsmiths I know will not work on them
- because they have had problems with them in the past.
-
- Someone said that they may become collectors items. I dont think so.
- Springfield is apparently back in business. They made a big showing a
- couple of weeks ago at the Houston SHOT show. I asked one of the factory
- reps what the deal was with them, and he said that someone bought the
- company and paid off the debts and they will stay in business. I dont
- know how reliable that information is, but i am hopeful. :-).
