- # Hi all,
- #
- # I'm considering the purchase of a Drum Type magazine for a CHinese AK
- # rifle (MAK-90). As these tend to cost a bit, I thought I'd ask
- # if anyone has anything good or bad to say about how it functions...
- # do the 100 rounders work OK ? do the 75 rounders work OK ?
-
- I used some of them with full auto Romanian AKMs and Chinese AK-47s in Korea.
- They're heavy and make a lot of noise from ammo rattling inside.
-
- As far as function goes, you have to be careful how you load them. I had one
- jam up on me while shooting one of the Romanian guns. I had to take it apart
- and clear things up. I suppose they're ok, but I prefer the 40 round
- magazines used with the RPK.
