- #For my around-the-house protection .357 Magnum pistols I use
- #"POLICE CARTRIDGES .38 SPECIAL" (that's the writing on the box)
- #manufactured by 3-D INV., INC., Doniphan, Nebraska.
- #(For the curious, they are 158 Gr. Lead Round Nose.)

- I used a "layered defense" technique... well, sorta. .357 magnum, first
- two rounds are Glazer safety slugs, for political correctness reasons, that
- and they are supposed to be safer for innocent bystanders because of their
- penetration characteristics. Second two are 125gr remington scalloped JHP's,
- supposedly a very common police rounbd. Last two are 158gr Federal Hydra-Shok
- cartridges. All of these are .357, not .38 special. Hopefully, I'll never
- have to use any of them.
