- At 50 yards, BRI Sabot slugs would be my choice. At that range, you have
- little chance of hitting anything from the hip anyway, so a little "careful
- aiming" would not be unreasonable. 50 yards is a bit of a stretch for
- combat shotgun shooting. However, those BRI slugs are incredibly accurate
- (I have gotten 5" groups at 100 yards from my SPAS-12). The 500gn internal
- slug is no wimp either.
