  21. At 50 yards, BRI Sabot slugs would be my choice.  At that range, you have 
  22. little chance of hitting anything from the hip anyway, so a little "careful
  23. aiming" would not be unreasonable.  50 yards is a bit of a stretch for 
  24. combat shotgun shooting.  However, those BRI slugs are incredibly accurate
  25. (I have gotten 5" groups at 100 yards from my SPAS-12).  The 500gn internal 
  26. slug is no wimp either.
