  12. A thread has been started on rec.rural that concerns the desirability of 
  13. putting raised bed gardens on existing leach lines.  The best area on my 
  14. property would also be on existing leach lines so I thought I would post to 
  15. this group to get opinions on this.

  17. I am used to using raised beds and want to continue in our new location.  I 
  18. had thought you were not supposed to raise anything for human consumption 
  19. on, or near, leach fields or lines.  Is this true??  In a raised bed 
  20. situation, would shallow rooted plants be safe?  Etc.

  22. Any information on how to make it work or if I should even try would be 
  23. greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
