- LandCADD is put out by LandCADD International and uses AutoCad as
- a shell... Basically, it has features such as irrigation design, a plant
- database, growth simulation for plantings, contour mapping, etc... It's
- pretty expensive though; I wouldn't pay the $5000+ that they ask for it...
- I think it's highly overpriced for the simple features that it offers, most
- of which will end up limiting the designer anyhow (i.e. pre-drawn construction
- details will only serve to stifle the landscape architect's creativity; who
- wants every piece of playground equipment to look the same?)
