  23.     LandCADD is put out by LandCADD International and uses AutoCad as
  24. a shell...  Basically, it has features such as irrigation design, a plant
  25. database, growth simulation for plantings, contour mapping, etc...  It's
  26. pretty expensive though; I wouldn't pay the $5000+ that they ask for it...
  27. I think it's highly overpriced for the simple features that it offers, most
  28. of which will end up limiting the designer anyhow (i.e. pre-drawn construction
  29. details will only serve to stifle the landscape architect's creativity; who
  30. wants every piece of playground equipment to look the same?)
